What does Sunstate do?
Sunstate is an unofficial countdown and companion app for an upcoming open-world video game. Right now it gives you:
- A live neon countdown to launch day, with a Home Screen widget, Lock Screen widgets, and a Dynamic Island / Lock Screen Live Activity.
- A hand-curated feed of confirmed facts — release date, platforms, the sun-soaked setting, and the two playable leads — written in our own words.
- Confirmed-news cards as official announcements roll out.
When the game launches, Sunstate flips into a personal 100%-completion tracker for missions, collectibles, and challenges, with completion percentage and an original-art "where-to-find" map assist.
Frequently asked questions
Is this the official app for the game?
No. Sunstate is an independent, fan-made companion. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the game's publisher or its development studio. We built it for fans, using only publicly confirmed facts described in our own words and our own original artwork.
When does the 100% completion tracker unlock?
The full tracker and the map assist activate automatically on the game's launch day. Before then, you'll see a preview of what's coming. There's nothing extra you need to do — once launch day arrives and you update to the latest version, the tracker turns on.
What's "Sunstate Pro," and is it a subscription?
Sunstate Pro is a one-time purchase of $7.99 (or your local equivalent). It is not a subscription — there's no auto-renewal and no recurring charge. You pay once. Before launch, Pro unlocks premium in-app countdown themes; at launch, the same purchase unlocks the full 100% tracker and map layer. The free tier is fully usable on its own.
How do I restore my purchase?
If you bought Sunstate Pro and it isn't showing on a device — for example after reinstalling or on a new phone — open the app, go to Settings, and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to buy it. Because Pro is a non-consumable purchase, restoring it is free and instant.
I bought Pro but a feature isn't unlocked. What do I do?
First try Restore Purchases in Settings. Confirm you're on the same Apple ID and connected to the internet so the app can verify your purchase with Apple. If it still doesn't unlock, email us at mitsi@uptrail.ai with the device you're using and we'll help.
How do I request a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds go through Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find Sunstate, and request a refund under Apple's policy.
Does Sunstate track me or show ads?
No. Sunstate has no ads, no third-party analytics, and no tracking. There's no account to create. Your data stays on your device. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Will the release date change?
The countdown reflects the publisher's most recently announced launch date. If the publisher officially moves the date, we'll update the app's feed to match. We can't control or guarantee a release date for an unreleased game.
